A Love for Learning
At The School for Early Excellence, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing preschool environment that stimulates creativity and discovery based on the belief that curiosity promotes lifelong learning. Our walls are painted yellow to encourage communication and happiness. The color yellow also stimulates mental processes, activates memory, and sparks creative thoughts.
Tracking Progress
Showing that our hard working is paying off is very important to us. We track and measure each child’s progress, and show that age-appropriate gains, both socially and academically, are being made. By providing fun, simple assessments for the children throughout the year, we are able to track and demonstrate each child’s growth. A portfolio is kept to contain the results of the assessments and includes pictures of the children at play, samples of their hard work and their progress towards meeting their developmental milestones.
Talented Teachers
We have a maximum daily enrollment of 26 preschool children to provide a more individualistic and cozy environment with low student to teacher ratios. Our preschool teachers are highly trained, often hold advanced specializations, and are warm and caring. We also encourage, support and expect our teachers to pursue continuing education to utilize current teaching strategies.
